Imagine your sweet child suffering from a broken heart. Or worse, suppose she has to endure the pain of battling cancer.
A mother can only hope, pray and beg the universe to spare her child from all suffering, no matter how big or small. But Bob Carey, from The Tutu Project, reminds us that, although we can’t control some parts of life, we choose how to let these events shape us.
On the Easter weekend, I crossed off the first item on my Spring 2012 TTD list: baking the Easter Bunny Butt Cake. Take a look at my version of the festive cake (hint: it’s better than Betty).

Living in an apartment or condo with small children can be a little tricky at times. People don’t like noise. Babies make a lot of noise. It has been a serious issue for our family, causing a lot of friction between us and the neighbours. When the problem followed us from one home to another, I knew I had to put an end to it.

Life is full of ups and downs. When you go through a rough patch, pre-motherhood, you have the luxury of wallowing in your sorrows. However, once you’re a mother, that is no longer an option. Now you are suddenly very aware of how you handle these situations. Children are so in tune with their mother’s emotions, that your pain and suffering can wreak havoc on their little souls.
