Every year on the 25th of December…
We exchange more smiles and well-wishes with strangers.
We hug and kiss our loved ones more than we normally would.
We give gifts to family, friends, teachers, neighbours, the postal clerk.
Last week’s challenge promised a family-pack of tickets to the Magic of Santa.
Congrats to Amanda (@lilahbility)!

Things That Make You Go “Ooo”: Free Yoga Online
To avoid getting kooky during Christmas time, practice yoga and meditation often.
If you’re thinking you can’t possibly squeeze something else into your holiday schedule, as the saying goes…
“You should sit in meditation for twenty minutes everyday – unless you’re too busy; then you should sit for an hour.” – Old Zen Adage. (That’s a Tweetable!)
25 Days of Yoga (Free)
Free yoga and meditation videos for everyone, from the newbie to the seasoned yogi. In your home. At whichever time of day best suits your hectic holiday schedule. Now that puts the spirit back in Christmas. Thank you, My Yoga Online!
Through Mama’s Eyes is an interactive weekly challenge that invites moms on Instagram to capture the fun, the beauty, and the simple pleasures that show up in their lives. Every Monday, a designated theme will be declared for the week on the blog. For a chance to be featured on the blog on the following Mondays, follow @natnanton.
Last week we peered out the window and shared our views from our homes, coffee shops, libraries, and even airports! Three entries from this challenge:
As some of you may already know, I sell my handmade tutus online at Tutu Mama. Lots of exciting changes are near for Tutu Mama. For now, I’m excited to announce that Tutu Mama has a new photographer and a new tutu design!
But first, a shout out to Ami Sanyal for all his beautiful work as Tutu Mama’s original photographer. Thank you for everything!
Now, I’d like to welcome Janice Croze from Janice Croze Photography.
Besides being a photographer, Janice (or Miss J, as Tiana calls her) is a mother of two and a blogging pioneer at the immensely popular, 5 Minutes for Mom! We actually connected in the ladies’ washroom at an inspiring event for mothers. You’ll get a chance to find out more about Janice in an upcoming interview.
She met with us on Monday to photograph Tutu Mama’s latest tutu: the Toadstool Tutu. Tiana will be wearing this design as part of her Minnie Mouse costume on Halloween.
Welcome!
