Living in an apartment or condo with small children can be a little tricky at times. People don’t like noise. Babies make a lot of noise. It has been a serious issue for our family, causing a lot of friction between us and the neighbours. When the problem followed us from one home to another, I knew I had to put an end to it.

So, how are those New Year’s resolutions coming along? It is February 1st. Which means 2012 is old news now. The excitement of a new year has faded. For most, February 1st means 2012 resolutions are just a memory…that we try really hard to forget.
If you’re not even close to being on track with this year’s goals, it’s not too late. That was only 31 days ago. There is plenty of hope.

Life is full of ups and downs. When you go through a rough patch, pre-motherhood, you have the luxury of wallowing in your sorrows. However, once you’re a mother, that is no longer an option. Now you are suddenly very aware of how you handle these situations. Children are so in tune with their mother’s emotions, that your pain and suffering can wreak havoc on their little souls.

December is a month that has always been full of celebration for me. It is my birth month, and of course, Christmas and New Year’s Eve call for big celebrations for everyone. Well this December, I added another celebration to my list: the 1st anniversary of Tutu Mama.
The countdown is on. There are less than 5 days left before Christmas. If you’re a last-minute mama, you’re freaking out about all the Christmas shopping you have left to do. And every time you see people posting pictures of their tree with piles of wrapped presents underneath, your left eye starts twitching.
You should know, that the Nantons like to break it down. So for our holiday greeting, we busted out our best break dance moves, just for you. 😉
