This Monday, Mama’s Music Mantra celebrates love in its truest form.  Today’s song pick: The Way I Am by Ingrid Michaelson. Now turn up those speakers, click play, and read on!

Babies are born to love. And us lucky Mama’s get the most of it! We are the embrace they want before bed and first thing in the morning. We are the comfort they look for when they fall down. They hold their breath for our applause as they learn exciting new skills. We are perfect, with all our imperfections. A mother can do no wrong in a baby’s eyes. They love us for who we are and never ask for anything more.

Celebrate that love and let it be a reminder of how irreplaceable we really are!

O and by the way, that second line in the mantra, simply a metaphor…Tiana doesn’t smoke. 🙂
