So far I’ve revealed that natnanton.com will be coming to a close to make way for my new blog. I have also let you in on the name of the new blog, (The Uncommoners Club) what it’s about (lifestyle design), and who it’s for (independent thinkers, like you).
Now I’m pumped to show you the logo! But before I reveal it to you, allow me to share my definition of the term that inspired the logo:
uncommoners noun [uhn-kom-uh-nerz]: those who think for themselves, lead with their heart, and are brave enough to do what the ordinary fear.
(Fun fact: that definition was modelled after the three characters in The Wizard of Oz.)
I wanted the logo to embody that definition. Happy to report, I managed to come up with the just the right thing! And Plate Design Studio’s branding consultant, Adriana, brought it to life.
I’m excited to introduce you to the llamacorn: part llama, part unicorn. 100% maverick.
Remember when Ice Cube went from gangsta to dadsta?
Talk about re-branding.
Well, I’m going from momsta to mobsta…except, not in the criminal gang kinda way. The only thing I’m trying to kill is status quo.
As you know, mommy blogs are for moms written by moms. In this case, natnanton.com is an “empowering blog for inspired moms”. What you probably don’t know, is that natnanton.com has a sizeable audience of non-moms…some of them are even males.
I’ve been turning blue in the face keeping this secret from you. I found out about three months ago. I was shocked… It was completely unexpected.
I had reconnected with an old friend of mine in January. The chemistry was hot as soon as we found out that both of us were about finding our potential and living our dreams.
So, we started hanging out and next thing you know…I’m launching a new blog…my new baby…completely unexpected!
Update: Wow. I’m thrilled at the response this post has had. Such sweet comments about it on Facebook, Twitter and the post itself. It has been “liked”, “shared” and retweeted over 1000 times and in more than one language. It was even blogged about and applied to running (I was thrilled, being a lover of running myself).
Thanks for the love folks. Watch out for more empowering content on my blog coming at you next week!
Subscribe now, if you haven’t already.
Hello and welcome to my empowering blog for inspired mothers. Hopefully you’re well on your way to being a more joyful parent after reading my Tiny Buddha post.
Speaking of joy, here are two recent Instagrams of my daughter, Tiana and I, having a blast on her 2nd birthday and jumping into fountains.
By now you know I like to have fun. But since you’re probably new around here, I thought I’d give you a quick introduction to me and my blog.
I must start by telling you that I prepared something special for you: a guide that will show you how to be a smokin’ hot mom! So make sure you get your hands on 15 Tips On How To Be The Hottest Mama You Know.
The countdown is on. There are less than 5 days left before Christmas. If you’re a last-minute mama, you’re freaking out about all the Christmas shopping you have left to do. And every time you see people posting pictures of their tree with piles of wrapped presents underneath, your left eye starts twitching.
And this here is my blog. Welcome. I will be using this cyberspace to post under three categories:
- Inspirations: all things/people/events..etc that make me want to be a better mother, entrepreneur, designer.
Aspirations: they say, that once you tell others about your goals, you become accountable, and the goals get accomplished. So allow me to share with you my dreams and aims in life, love and handmade tutus.
Perspirations: ahh doesn’t it feel good to sweat. I’ll be posting about all the trials and tribulations, smiles and elations that go along with the process of being a Mama, determined to do everything. With love.
I'm Nat Nanton, founder of Tutu Mama. Becoming a mother has made me commit to living my greatest life. If you can relate to that, you're in the right place.
